- 아/어 가다(오다)
It is added to a stem of a verb, it means a continuous action or a movement in space as time goes. If the speaker goes further away, it is used as '-아/어 가다', if he/she comes close, it is used as a -아/ 어오다.'
Example:
1.다 완성되어 가니까 조금만 기다려.
Since it is almost done, wait for a second.
2. 웬 남자가 나를 향해 접근해 오면서 따라오라는 눈짓을 했다.
A man approached me and signaled me with his eyes to follow him.
3. 열심히 해 가면 언젠가는 좋은 결과가 있을 겁니다.
If you work hard, you will get good results in the future.
4. 신경 써서 물을 주었는데도 점점 시들어 가요.
Even though I watered it carefully, it withered.
5. 아침 해가 점점 밝아 오네요.
The morning sun is getting brighter.
6. 아이가 커 가면서 성격이 많이 바뀌었어요.
As the child grew up, his personality changed a lot.
