(으)ㄹ 수록 [Intermediate Grammar]

 - (으)ㄹ 수록

→ It is added to a stem of a verb or an adjective, which indicates, the degree of a following action or a condition has increased to a more severe action or a better condition. The same verb can be used to repeat the form of '-(으)면 -(으)ㄹ 수록.'

Example: 

1. 부자일수록 돈에 대해서 더 철저합니다.
    The richer one is, the more thorough he/she is about money.

2. 한국말은 배우면 배울수록 어려워요.
    The more I have learned Korean, the more difficult it is.

3. 서현 씨는 보면 볼수록 미인이에요.
    The more I see Seohyeon, the more beautiful she is.

4. 자면 잘수록 더 졸리는 것 같아요.

I sleep as if I am more sleepy.

5. 아이가 크면 클수록 돈이 많이 들어요.

The older the child, the more money he spends.

6. 그 사람을 만나면 만날수록 정이 들어요.

The more you meet that person, the more satisfied you become.
