→ It is added to the stem of a verb expressing the speaker's will, his/her plan, or his/her schedule. Compared to other similar expressions, it represents 'one's vague will or his/her schedule lacking concreteness."
Example:
1. 한잔할까 해서 전화했어요.
I am calling to have a drink with you.
2. 동생 졸업 선물로 만년필을 살까 하다가 구두를 사 주었어요.
I was thinking about buying a fountain pen for my brother's graduation present, but I ended up buying a pair of shoes.
3.주말에는 집에서 쉴까 했는데 친구가 같이 놀러 가재요.
I was thinking about staying at home during the weekend, but my friend wanted me to go out.
4.바빠서 가까운 수영장에나 갔다 올까 해요.
I'm busy, so I'm going to go to the nearby pool.
5.친국들하고 스키를 타러 갈까 해요.
I'm thinking of going skiing with my friends.
