→ It is a connective ending added to a stem of a verb or an adjective, which indicates a reason.' Mainly it is used to describe the logical background or a reason in rhetorical writing or descriptive writing. Therefore it is usually used in a literary style or a formal expression rather than in a casual style.

Example: 

1. 중대한 문제이므로 실수 없이 처리해야 합니다.

Since this is an important matter, you should handle it without making mistakes.

2. 위의 학생은 성적이 우수하므로 이 상을 수여합니다.
Since the student has performed well, the award will be presented.

3. 이 약은 부작용이 있을 수 있으므로 주의해야 함. 

Since this medicine might cause some side effects, you should take it with caution.

4. 열차와 승강장 사이가 넓으모로 발이 빠지지 않도록 주의하시기 바랍니다.

The space between the train and the platform is wide, so please be careful not to get your feet caught.
