→ It means an action done by being added to the stem of a verb. It indicates 'the action is done to the condition that a speaker cannot change or the pressure on the speaker is gone since the action is done.
Example:

2. 내가 벽에 붙인 포스터를 누가 떼 버렸어요?
Who took off the poster I put on the wall?
3. 먼저 가 버리면 안 됩니다. You shouldn't go first.
4. 사표를 내 버리고 싶을 때가 한두 번이 아니에요.
I've wanted to turn in my resignation several times.
